Latest - Autumn 2008 itinerary added - more details

The Bird ID Company has a variety of tours that offer our customers the opportunity to see a wide range of bird species in and around Norfolk. We specialise in helping bird watchers get more from their hobby by teaching them bird identification skills in the field.

Our ethos is to help bird watchers experience not only regularly seen birds but also unfamiliar new species in order to improve their bird identification skills. This will also help our clients enjoy their hobby more and gain confidence in their own skills. The daily tours average around 75 - 90 species a day and often we encounter a scarce or rare bird, which always adds to the excitement on the day.

Stuart White has been bird watching since he was old enough to hold a pair of binoculars, he is now thirty-five. He began life in Suffolk but moved to Norfolk at the age of thirteen, where he has birded regularly for 20 years. He loves showing other people birds and is keen to transfer his skills on identification.

Having spent several years abroad, including a year in Australia, 6 months in India, 2 months in Nepal and various trips to other parts of Asia, Africa, South & North America, the middle east and Europe. Stuart has a wealth of experience and expertise that he is willing to share with others to ensure they improve their bird watching skills.
